Wake Up Film

Since 2006 I have been working alongside director and producer Janet Craig to help bring the film Wake Up to audiences around the globe. Wake Up is a film based on true events about sex trafficking and the foster system. Proceeds and awareness raised by the film go to support nonprofits who are on the frontlines working to help those impacted by trafficking. I have been working as the creative director for the film, providing all graphics and design support. I originally began by designing a simple website and logo and over the years as the film has gained traction I have provided numerous print and digital graphics, along with swag items. I have also overseen design efforts for promotions and graphic elements used within the film itself.

I developed brand guidelines that were shared with various partners involved with the film, such as producers, promoters and distributors.

The film was part of a number of independent film festivals and special screenings across the country in which I designed a series of promotional graphics for print and for social media. I combined impactful still images with branded elements to help tell the story of the film and bring people to visit the Wake Up website which I also created.
